The 29 October 2026 review checked public documents and video metadata for unofficial Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) projects. It did not log in, start a game, watch videos or measure performance. Existing screenshot credits describe earlier captures, not gameplay verified by this review.
What we will not fill in
Player counts, file sizes, prices, and “it works offline” stay empty when nobody has published them. A single news recap is labeled as one source. AI summaries and keyword tools are not sources.
Corrections go to [email protected]. The page date changes when the text changes. Sitemap lastmod uses that same date.
Images and video
Existing project screenshots retain their source and capture-date credits; this review did not retake them or verify gameplay depicted in them. The hero is an illustration, not a gameplay capture. Embedded YouTube titles and dates were checked against public metadata, without watching the videos or treating their titles as proof of compatibility.
Store prices are dated and scoped to a store and region. Separate platforms are not confirmation of the same price, and a store API is not independent of its own storefront. Disk requirements, archive sizes and transferred browser data are different measurements.
Questions and answers
When is a fact called checked?
Two independent sources must support the same scoped claim. Operator pages, their own mod listings and author-linked mirrors are not independent of each other. A news article repeating an operator claim corroborates publication, not gameplay, security or performance. Otherwise the claim is labeled single-source.
What if the sources disagree?
Conflicting claims remain attributed, such as the two published 2011 shutdown dates. A number with an uncertain project identity is not assigned to either project. Missing values stay unknown rather than being estimated.
Do ads affect the project comparisons?
This site displays ordinary third-party advertising through Adsterra. Those advertisements are separate from the project comparisons and store links: projects and stores do not pay for their ranking or placement in the editorial comparisons.
