Phone, PS2, and GBA are different routes
Updated 2026-10-29
The unofficial browser projects for Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005), an Android recompilation, PS2 emulation and a GBA adaptation are different routes. Public project documentation was checked without a phone test, sign-in or game launch.
Routes that get mixed together
Open the child page that matches the device in your hand.
| Route | Device | Page |
|---|---|---|
| NFSMW Online lite mode | Phone browser | Mobile |
| Android port that needs Xbox 360 files | Android 8 or newer | Mobile |
| 2012 phone game from EA | iOS or Android store | 2012 |
| PS2 disc | PCSX2 on a desktop, or a PS2 | PS2 |
| GBA game in a web emulator | Browser, including phones | GBA |
What I will not claim
MWO metadata advertises PC and phone support, including Android and iOS: a single-operator marketing claim, not a tested device matrix. NFSMW Online documents phone lite mode, while a third-party guide says mobile browsers do not work. Both claims remain attributed, without promising a route on every phone.
Questions and answers
Can the dezm0n port run on a phone?
The itch page says desktop Chrome or Edge. It does not list iOS or Android. I would not expect that port on a phone.
Is there a PS2 emulator in the browser?
Yes: Play!.js is experimental PS2 browser emulation. Its warning says it is not meant to play every game supported by desktop Play!. Most Wanted browser compatibility is unverified here. EmulatorJS lacking a PS2 entry does not mean no browser PS2 emulator exists.
