Where the browser career is stored

Updated 2026-10-29

The unofficial Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) projects do not share a save system. dezm0n documents local browser storage and export; NFSMW Online describes account careers. This review did not create, move or erase a save.

Write down which client you used. The save does not follow you to a different site.

Blank cells mean the project has not published the detail.

dezm0n specifics

Keep Gameplay, Autosave, On. The author says settings and the career live in browser storage and can be exported or imported. An itch comment describes an import that appeared to do nothing. If an import fails, that report is the precedent, not a guarantee it will fail for you.

JustPlayWeb, linked by the author, describes the same local storage model. It is related hosting, not an independent storage audit. A save exported in one browser profile will not appear in another profile unless you import it.

Account careers

NFSMW Online states that each account has its own career and saves, and the independent togame.io guide repeats that account model. The Spanish article mixes the two online project names, so it is not used to establish which service restores a career across devices. Account storage is not a backup or recovery guarantee.

Most Wanted Online requires a project account for online play, but that does not establish browser save location, export or account recovery. Those browser details remain unverified. Do not delete local data on the assumption that signing in will restore it.

Questions and answers

Can clearing site data delete a dezm0n career?

Clearing this origin’s stored site data can delete local saves; clearing only cached images and files is not the same operation. MDN describes possible storage eviction when space is low. Export a backup before changing site storage, and never clear all browser cookies as a game fix.

Can I move a save from one project to another?

I found no import tool that accepts another project’s career. The runtimes and accounts differ. Do not expect a dezm0n zip to load in NFSMW Online, or the reverse.
